Hope you all had a fantastic Diwali 2017 and had lots of fun. If you remember in my last post I had mentioned that Oriflame did launch their One Express collection which included lip products i.e The ONE Express Lip Crayons which I have already reviewed you can check out that review and today I will talk about The ONE Dual Drama Kohl Eye Pencils which have been launched in the same collection. The whole collection launched has been curated keeping in mind those people who are artistic, bold and fearless when it comes to makeup and those who love experimenting with bright and quirky makeup. If you follow my blog and my social media you know how I love bright lipsticks and in terms of eye makeup going by the trend colored pencils/kohls and eyeliners are in trend at the moment. These pencils are color co- ordinated and are made of wood. There are 2 sides with 2 colors and these pencils need to be sharpened. They have a clear cap which shows the color of the pencil and sits well on the pencil. These are user and travel friendly. The only issue is that you have to sharpen which can lead to product wastage.

Left to Right - ORANGE RAVEN,GREEN MOCHA,CANARY TEAL,CYAN NAVY

All the pencils are creamy and glide smoothly on the lids without any tugging or pulling. The first time you use it you need to make sure to warm it at the back of your hand. Due to its creamy texture it is also best used an eye shadow on the lids.Smokey eyes are a piece of cake to do with these pencils. Each one has a muted color and a contrasting one to create a ombre kind of look.They can be used as a kajal and eyeliner too.

 Due to its creamy nature they are easily smudgeable and hence it is best to set it with translucent powder or a powder eye shadow of the same color.They will last you for 5 to 6 hours and may be whole day provided you do not touch your eyes. If you use it on your waterline it definitely won't last long and will smudge.In conclusion I would say that I love the concept - very new and fun and this product is best recommended for women on the go who need one product to get multiple use out of. For example if I am using the Green Mocha variant - I could use brown for the day and jazz it with green in the evening for parties or night out.I do recommend these pencils now that I have tried and shared my opinion with you all.

This shade is a very light pink color and will not suit our Indian skin tones in my opinion.You can use it to lighten other lipsticks.

It is a beautiful coral color which is a mix of pink and orange - more pink I would say.

It is a bright pink color with blue undertones and brightens my complexion. One of my favorites.

ORANGE CRUSH

This is a true orange color and brightens up the complexion. It will suit every skin tone in my opinion unless you do not like orange lipsticks.

RED RUSH

This red can be best described as red with pink undertones and will compliment every skin tone.

PURPLE HAZE

This color is perfect for fall/winter and I love it.It is a deep berry color with purple in it.

INDIGO DARE

As the name suggests the shade is those for people who dare and are experimental. It is a beautiful Indigo,essentially a mixture of blue & purple. I think it looks amazing on me to be honest but the color can be a personal choice for most.

Packaging:

The crayons come in a jumbo pencil format as one can tell and has a transparent cap which makes the color visible from the top.The body of the lip crayon  is grey in color and bears the name of the variant on the tube itself.It is travel friendly and user friendly in my opinion, only one needs to be careful while closing the cap.

The lip crayon are smooth in texture and buttery and easily glide on the lips.The pointed edge of the crayon helps in outlining the lips and reaching the corners of the mouth easily.There is no scent to it and feels nice and comfortable on the lips. The matte lip trend is still here but I sometimes love these semi matte type of lipstick formulas as they do not dry my lips.The have no shimmer which is a big Yay! and makes your lips look fuller on application.

The lighter colors fade away quickly and the ones which are bright and vibrant do leave a stain behind when they fade and also disappear from the centre of the lips which kind of looks odd but one can always reapply I feel.Overall they last for 4 hours and in between meals. All the shades are perfect for Indian skin tones except Bubble Gum Pink but you can mix it with some other color to create a custom shade.If you follow Oriflame India on their Instagram they have shown how to use these to create fun lip looks i.e ombre lips or mixing two or more colors for fun. I leave that upto you how you may want to use it. To conclude I would say these are semi - matte, have good color pigment to them and the staying power is fairly good. These also make perfect gifting options, so what are you waiting for?? Go grab them while they are on offer.

Life update + September & October Favorites 2017 (Video)

I have had excruciating back pain (muscle pull) that I cannot even describe and I am still in pain while posting this. So there are many BB, CC and even DD creams now in the market which most of us do own but this claims to be all in one so let me tell you my experience trying it. The product comes enclosed in a cardboard box packaging with all the necessary information on it. The cream comes in a white opaque bottle with a pump dispenser which is so good as I hate the ones which come with a wide mouth and wastes product.The product tends to accumulate near the cap which is the thing with pump packaging but I think its normal and since the cap sits well it can be travel friendly as well.

The All in one cream comes in only one shade which is a bummer but then most of the other brands have one shade too which blends and adapts to one's skin type. Ok so I have fair to medium skin tone and this shade suited me. The cream is thick and needs to be blended well. The face looks dewy post application which is a bad thing for oily skin people like me hence setting it with a powder will be a must. The coverage is light and does not hide any blemishes or pimples etc. The shade may be a misfit for deeper skin tones in my opinion.It blends well into the skin however makes my skin greasy and is not photo friendly as well. Overall I think that it can be good for those who have less problematic skin and someone who does not require lot of coverage.It can be used as a daily all in one cream by those who have dry skin. The price point is quite high which I did not like as it is does not even give medium coverage.Overall it is an okay product and will suit dry skin women in my opinion.
