The scrub is mustard yellow in color and contains dried rose petals, oats and amba haldi which is an excellent antiseptic for skin. I use it with rose water and make a thick paste out of it. I would suggest doing it before bath in the bathroom as it may get messy like what I have experienced. The texture is soft and gritty just like how a scrub should be but quite different from what I have tried. It does a great job of exfoliating the skin I do gently scrub my face for 5 minutes and wash it off. My skin felt soft, refreshed and glowy which I was really surprised about. It prevents wrinkles and skin toning as claimed well wrinkles can't say you have to always take care of it because you cannot stop aging but only control it.Yes it does tone the skin which I like and imparts a glow as I mentioned before. I love this face scrub and would recommend to everyone as it will suit every skin type.If you haven't tried products from this brand I would suggest you do that ☺

MLWM Rating:4.8/5

Mirenesse Marble Mineral Blush in Carrara Coral Review & Swatches

Packaging:
The packaging is quite bulky and reminds me of MAC cosmetics although they don't look same and  this one is more heavier. The product comes with an extra cover inside to protect the blush. It does come with a mirror but no brush. These may not be the best to travel with as it is bulky.

Coming to the blush it is a coral color and comes with a marble pattern on it. The product is placed in the container in a dome shaped format which is the case with most mineral blushes. It has prints of gold to it and when swiped together give a lovely sheen to the cheeks along with a flush of color. What I like is that there is no chunky glitter and the finish is smooth. If you have pores do not wear it without any primer or pore minimiser as it may accentuate it. How I like to apply it is on the hollows of my cheeks so it doubles up as a blush and bronzer. It lasts all day and will suit women of every color. They have 5 shades in total and all are stunning. Availability and price is the only issue for us in India but other than it is a stunning blush worth having in your kitty.

MLWM Rating:4.5/5

Have you tried Mirenesse products before?? What do you think about this blush, do let me know in the comments section.

Until next time... Take care xoxo

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

Hello everyone,
Today I am going to review Herbal India's Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream. If you are not new to my blog you would know I have reviewed their products before as well. Most of their creams target skin lightening and reducing tan, dark spots etc. While not all of the ones I have reviewed have worked for me I am going to share my experience about this one on the blog today. Read on to know more...

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

Price:Rs.4000/- for 30gm
Available on their website here

Information about the product:
The information below has been taken from their website/blog since no description on product and what does it contain and how is it going to benefit the person, I think they should improve on the same.

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

It contains:
Arbutin - derived from bearberry leaves.
Inhibits melanin synthesis, thereby lightening dark spots.

Vitamin C - antioxidant that evens skin tone and helps build collagen. We use Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which is less irritating than L-Ascorbic Acid and does not decay as rapidly.

Hyaluronic Acid - one of the most powerful hydrating and moisturizing ingredients on the market today. Used to transport the lightening ingredients into the skin and moisturize.

Glutathione - A natural Skin Whitening agent derived from Rice wine and yeast fermentation process

Packaging:
The packaging is unique but bulky which I am not a fan of to be honest although it looks attractive to look at. Price, key ingredients and expiry date is mentioned on the container which is good to know information.

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

Coming to the product it is off white in color and has a mousse like consistency. I found it quite emollient and since it has a mousse like texture it needs to be blended well. On application you will find it will leave a white cast on the face hence the best time to apply is at night after washing your face and leave it overnight for best results, washing it off the next morning. It has a strong smell which can be bothersome for some people.

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

Now if you have oily skin this can be a bit greasy like it was for me I would suggest to apply less. Also after application my face started sweating which I did not like to be honest. If you have normal to dry skin it would be best for you.So let me now clarify that this cream claims about whitening which I am strictly against because I believe one should be proud of their skin color. This cream or any other cream in the market which claims whitening it simply means lightening your skin tone which means if you have a tan, pigmentation or dark spots it will help in reducing the same. In that way this cream will work well. Also the USP of the brand and its product that it is chemical free and is made of plants and herbs.

Derma Gluto Glutarbutin Cream Review

Post use I saw some of my discoloration reduced and skin was looking more radiant than before. Because of summers my skin has become dull so this was helpful in that way. I would say if you have severe acne issues avoid using this cream or use in places necessary like dark spots or pigmentation. If you are looking for some cream which helps in reducing tan and make your skin brighter and radiant then this is the cream for you.It is on the pricier end but worth a try as it is of good quality.

Rating: 4.2/5

So what do you think of this brand and this product?? Would you try it? Do let me know in the comments section.

Seven Philippine islands you must visit !!

When was the last time you went on a full-fledged long holiday? I have not been on one in 5 years, but I intend to go on one by the end of this year hopefully. In my childhood, we travelled a lot but once you start working things are so different. You are constantly working hard to earn a living for yourself, and in the bargain, you forget about yourself. Lately, I have been fascinated by the Philippine Islands and based on my research I am going to tell you about 7 of them you must visit in your lifetime.

But before I tell you about it have you ever thought of an sip investment plan for your life goals which could be buying that new house or the car of your dreams? If not you definitely should. Everyone have dreams and goals that they want to fulfill which need smart planning. SIP will be that one-stop solution for fulfilling their dreams. Sabse Important Plan by Birla Sun Life has some of the best sip plans which I am considering as suggested by one of my friends who recently came back from a trip to the Philippines. Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) is a financial planning tool that helps you to create wealth, by investing small sums of money every month, over a period of time. It is a vehicle offered by mutual funds to help investors invest regularly in a disciplined manner.

I have been considering the Sabse Important Plan by Birla Sun Life as suggested by one of my friends who recently came back from a trip to the Philippines. Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd. (BSLAMC), the investment manager of Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, is a joint venture between the Aditya Birla Group and the Sun Life Financial Inc. of Canada. Established in 1994, Birla Sun Life Mutual fund has emerged as one of India's leading flagships of Mutual Funds business managing assets of a large investor base. BSLAMC strives to provide transparent, ethical and research-based investments and wealth management services.

So coming to the topic, Philippine archipelago comprises of 7,500 islands of which 2,000 are inhabited clustered into 3 major island groups of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Let me tell you about 7 worth visiting...
Luzon is the most populous island in the Philippines and the 15th largest in the world. It is located in the northern region and home to the country's capital city, Manila, as well as Quezon City.

Palawan is the largest island of the province of Palawan in the Philippines and the fifth largest island of the country.. This island is very undeveloped and traditional. Abundant wildlife, jungle mountains, and white sandy beaches attract many tourists.

Negros was originally called Buglas, an old Hiligaynon word thought to mean "cut off", as it is believed that the island was separated from a larger landmass by rising waters during the last ice age. It is the fourth largest in the country with a total land area of 13,309.60 square km. Negros is noted for being the country's prime producer of sugar.

Samar is the easternmost island in Visayas and is separated from Leyte by the San Juanico Strait, which at its narrowest point and is only about 2 kilometers (1.2 mi) across.

Mindanao is the second largest and southernmost major island in the Philippines. It is considered the food basket of the Philippines. Eight of the top 10 agricultural commodities exported from the Philippines come from here. It is the 19th largest island in the world.

Panay is a triangular island in the Philippines located in the western part of the Visayas. It is about 160 kilometers (100 mi) across, ranking the sixth largest of the islands in the country. Before 1212, Panay was called Simsiman.

Mindoro is the seventh-largest island in the Philippines. It is located off the coast of Luzon, and northeast of Palawan. The economy of Mindoro is largely based on agriculture.

I am sure after reading this Philippine islands post it would be your next holiday destination. I would say the best mutual funds for sip right now is Sabse Important Plan (SIP) by Birla Sun Life and their present SIP offers is one of the best option available in the market.

After years of working, I have realized that unless I invest in sip mutual fund there is no way I can fulfill my dream goals. I have gone through some of the top sip plans which I may consider having a look, for I want to make smart decisions about where I invest my money in future to get better returns.

Please leave a comment below and let me know whether you have visited Philippines before and do you invest in an Systematic Investment Plan (SIP)???
