Today I shall be reviewing a face pack which I have enjoyed in the month of summers here in India.The heat is unbearable and although we have some respite from the on and off rainy weather we are still to witness monsoons. The major problem for us Indians is that we get tanned and our skin looks dull and lifeless.While there are many face packs available in the market I generally prefer those which are 100% natural and free of chemicals and parabens. How to use:

For oily skin, add curd. For dry skin, add milk. For normal skin, add rosewater. Make a creamy paste and apply to face and neck. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse well.

Packaging:

The face pack comes in a cute jar which reminds me of my childhood. The jar is made of glass and it has a tin cap. The product is easily visible from the outside. Basic information about the product is mentioned on the jar itself. In case of travel you may need to pack it in a separate container.

The face pack is mustard yellow in color and gritty in texture. Because I have normal skin for now I used it with rose water.You must never forget the neck as it tends to be darker than the face. The pack smells like orange for obvious reasons and is very refreshing. Once it dries I wash it off and pat dry my face. The skin is instantly brightened and looks fresh so polished and brightened skin hell yes! Well about tanning I am not sure as I am not tanned at the moment but I know that orange peel powder helps in reducing tan so a big thumbs up for that and I am sure it will work in resolving that.In my opinion this face pack will work best for all skin types especially during as the skin tends to get dull,tired and tanned. I highly recommend you to check this product out.

The scrub really surprised me by how good it was.Firstly the ingredients are amazing and noteworthy.They make the perfect natural exfoliant in my opinion. My skin has been behaving problematic in last 2 months and I have had a bout of acne.Like before I do not experiment with skin care but I was impressed by the product line hence thought to give it a go. I use it with rose water and scrub my face in upward direction. The scrub was gritty enough but not abrasive which is a big yay!  and post use I was amazed by how clean my face got. Post use I never had any breakouts which is a big thumbs up. It rejuvenates the skin for sure but cannot say about tanning and pigmentation for the sample size I have tried. Also I don't get  tanned easily so can't comment about the same. I think this scrub is one of the best I have tried.Now that it is summer and everyone's faces tanning issues, this all natural face scrub would be a good investment.I highly recommend this to everyone.

It has been a while that I may have reviewed any new skincare brand on the blog. So here I am to tell you about Svayam Natural and some of their products which they sent me across a while ago.They are 100% Natural and Handcrafted products which include - Hair Oils, Scrubs, Packs, Face Serums and Bath Oils. I have been trying out their products and the first one I did try is their Apricot Face Scrub with dried rose petals, moong dal and amba haldi. There are other stickers too which mention the name of the product and other information. The packaging is simple yet attractive to look at. They may not be travel friendly but you can use another container to carry along while on vacation or travelling.

The scrub is mustard yellow in color and contains dried rose petals, oats and amba haldi which is an excellent antiseptic for skin. I use it with rose water and make a thick paste out of it. I would suggest doing it before bath in the bathroom as it may get messy like what I have experienced. The texture is soft and gritty just like how a scrub should be but quite different from what I have tried.It does a great job of exfoliating the skin I do gently scrub my face for 5 minutes and wash it off. My skin felt soft, refreshed and glowy which I was really surprised about.It prevents wrinkles and skin toning as claimed well wrinkles can't say you have to always take care of it because you cannot stop aging but only control it.Yes it does tone the skin which I like and imparts a glow as I mentioned before. I love this face scrub and would recommend to everyone as it will suit every skin type.If you haven't tried products from this brand I would suggest you do that ☺
