Today I am going to review a face mask from the brand TruSelf Organics who are a USA based company and make some amazing, natural and cruelty free skin care products. I had done an Instagram post before mentioning how amazing the mask is you can check it HERE  Since last few months my skin has been breaking out bad and the summers have made it even worse.It is then when I was looking in my stash and found this mask which I had forgotten about, blame it on too many things a blogger can have.This is  clearly one of the best masks I have tried and you need to read further to know why.....

Packaging:

The product comes in a dark plastic container which is of good quality and comes with a screw cap lid. The container mentions ingredients and other basic information. The product is travel friendly as it is in powder form and is a perfect companion for travel/vacations.

My experience/thoughts:

Being a blogger and beauty enthusiast I would like to say that nobody has perfect skin not even celebrities to be honest. In order to make sure skin is problem free, you need to take care of it and by that I mean cleansing, scrubbing, toning, moisturizing etc. So moving on to the product it is a clay based mask and this one is best suited for normal to oily to combination skin. Those who have extremely dry skin may find this is a bit drying but in summers as the skin tends to get oily it can be used by one and all.

I use this mask once a week and mix water with it, although they say to use their Detoxifying Solution which I do not own. You can use rose water or plain water to make the pack and apply it generously on your face and neck. Once it dries you will feel a tightening effect on the skin. Once you wash it off your skin will look brighter and any acne you have may vanish on regular use.  I also noticed my pores looked tighter than before.Please note using a product regularly only show results.The ingredients list is pretty impressive and I like that it is chemical free which makes it worth buying and trying. Go ahead and grab this if you are someone who shops from international websites as this is hard to find in India. I truly love it and highly recommend.

How to use:

Gently massage onto scalp and apply along length of hair. Rinse after 30 minutes with a mild shampoo. Avoid contact with eyes. In case accidental contact occurs, rinse well with warm water.

The oil comes in a plastic see through bottle from which the contents are easily available. The cap is golden in color and is good. There is no stopper in between which I don't like because it may dispense more oil than required creating a mess.I have not traveled with it so can't say if it is travel friendly but I guess one can manage right?? Ingredients and basic information is printed on the bottle.

Coming to the product, the oil is dirty chrome yellow in color because of the presence of mustard oil which can stink if used on its own but thankfully it is used in moderation.On sniffing coconut and amla (indiangooseberry) presence  is very evident. The oil is of very good quality and not greasy in my opinion. Oiling the hair is very important like even if you have a greasy scalp you must do it once in 10 days and one should only keep it for 30 min to an hour.

The oil seeps in well and gets absorbed easily. What I like is that it contains neem stems which are good for dandruff and prove as an antiseptic for the scalp as well.Amla is good for hair growth and helps in hair loss. I did not notice a visible difference and it is hard to tell unless I use the full bottle.However it definitely helps in preventing dandruff from what I have seen. I wash my hair after 30 minutes of application. You need to shampoo twice if you have heavily oiled your hair. Overall I like it as it contains all natural ingredients and is cruelty free. This brand have  some really good products you must go check them out soon.

About the product:

Packaging:

The lip colors come in the same kind of packaging very like their matte mousse range.If you have not read that review you can check it out HERE The tube is slim and can stand on its own and will look great on your dressing table.The wand is silver in color and has 'The One' logo on it which looks luxurious yet cute. Coming to the wand it is flat which makes application easy on the centre of the lips but a little difficult in the corners of the mouth. Overall packaging is cute and decent and also travel friendly in my opinion.

Tangerine Tango is a light orange hue with a hint of peach to it.

Sunset Burst is a beautiful red with pink undertones to it.

Malibu Blush is a beautiful coral color which is pink mixed with orange

Magnetic Magenta is a magenta color like it says. It is light pink color with blue undertones which we say purple pink

Purple Rumba is a stunning purple/aubergine hue in my opinion.

My review and thoughts:

These lip colors are certainly liquid lip colors as they claim but these are not matte which you may be used to and which are in trend right now. So over the years I have tried many lip glosses and they have all failed in the pigmentation department. Glosses which claimed to have good pigmentation have also failed.

So would I say the same about these?? Well absolutely not. Firstly the pigmentation is really good for a liquid lip color which does not have a matte formula.I could not find any glitter or shimmer in it which is another plus point in my opinion.It has an amazing fluid and light weight texture in my opinion. It spreads easily on the lips and the texture and formula is very smooth and moisturizing, you need to wear it to know what I am saying.It has a faint smell which is not bothersome in my opinion.

You would need to apply 2 coats if you have pigmented lips like mine also you need to be careful as it may tend to go outside the lips if applied incorrectly. All the colors are bright and beautiful and have a gorgeous finish to them, very apt for summers.The longevity is not that much because it is a glossy formula and may tend to easy wipe off once you eat or drink something, however they leave a lovely stain which I don't mind at all.Overall I think  The ONE Lip Sensation Vinyl Gel is a must try for the shade selection, formula and the way it performs.If you ignore the longevity it is an amazing product in my opinion ☺☺

The primer comes in a white and purple opaque tube which has a screw cap to it. There is basic information printed on it. I wish they had a flip cap to be honest. Also there is a chance of the product accumulating on the surface of where the product comes off. It is still travel and user friendly I feel.

The primer is white in color and has a cream like consistency. It does have fragrance to it which is ok in my opinion. As I said before primers need to be applied before makeup to build a smooth canvas, fill pores and provide tackiness for the base product to adhere to the skin. The primer acts as a barrier between the skin and the foundation. It sounds more like a moisturizer kind of formula in my opinion. Post application of primer and foundation you will get a dewy and healthy glow which I like but not really because this primer is meant for normal to dry skin and I do have oily to combination skin.It does help the makeup to stay longer on the face but my nose and T zone get very oily hence I have to use a powder. Personally I would use this in winters as it is quite emollient for my oily skin. It does not minimize the appearance of pores or fills them. So I can easily conclude that this one is meant for dry and normal and not oily skin like mine.If you have dry skin you can go for this one.

Benefits:

Ingredients: Almond, Oats,Masoor Daal,Haldi, Mustard Seeds

Usage:

For oily skin, add curd. For dry skin, add milk. For normal skin, add rosewater. Make a creamy paste and apply on face and neck. Rub gently in circular motion. Rinse well. For best results, use with turmeric powder.

The product comes in a glass tub with  a tin like lid packaging which screws and shuts well. Since it is a glass container one needs to be careful with it.The containers are cute and are reusable in the kitchen as well which  I like.

The scrub really surprised me by how good it was.Firstly the ingredients are amazing and noteworthy.They make the perfect natural exfoliant in my opinion. My skin has been behaving problematic in last 2 months and I have had a bout of acne.Like before I do not experiment with skin care but I was impressed by the product line hence thought to give it a go. I use it with rose water and scrub my face in upward direction. The scrub was gritty enough but not abrasive which is a big yay!  and post use I was amazed by how clean my face got. Post use I never had any breakouts which is a big thumbs up. It rejuvenates the skin for sure but cannot say about tanning and pigmentation for the sample size I have tried. Also I don't get  tanned easily so can't comment about the same. I think this scrub is one of the best I have tried.Now that it is summer and everyone's faces tanning issues, this all natural face scrub would be a good investment.I highly recommend this to everyone.
